Hi @toaha63. Thanks for taking the time to submit a pull request.

This project is no longer under active development since we are now dedicating the available development resources to Arduino IDE 2.x. For this reason, and because your proposal appears to only be a trivial refactoring, I will decline this.

You are welcome to maintain your own fork of Arduino IDE 1.x if you think your developments will be of value to the Arduino community.
