๐Ÿ”“ Store private keys remotely

coccoinomane edited this page May 23, 2022 · 1 revision

It is possible to store your private keys on an external service rather than on .env. The main advantages are:

  1. You do not have to store the private key in the application.
  2. You can revoke access to the private key directly from the external service.

Community member @vulogov kindly contributed with tooling to store the private key in two such services: AWS Secrets Manager and Vault by HashiCorp.

Feel free to checkout @vulogov's pull request if you want to give it a try ๐Ÿ™‚
