Pre-release

This marks the implementation of multiple appointment types, which is an API breaking enhancement. Prior to this enhancement, there was one type of an appointment, centered around the following fields:

  • hours
  • minutes
  • seconds
  • declination

As of this enhancement, the following appointment types are now supported for creation/updating/requesting:

  • Point (supported prior, but did not have an explicit type)
  • Celestial Body
  • Drift Scan
  • Raster Scan
  • Free Control

As mentioned directly above, this new enhancement also offers functionality to allow for manual control of the radio telescope.

NOTE: Considering that this is an alpha release, it is susceptible to bugs, which will become clear upon front-end integration. There will be another release for this enhancement once it has been fully integrated with the front-end and is considered stable.
