A collection of wallpaper images showcasing various scenes from Israel.

This repository contains images of Israel in various formats and orientations. All images were taken by me, Daniel Rosehill.

Installation

First, ensure Git LFS is installed:

# On Ubuntu/Debian:
sudo apt-get install git-lfs

# On other systems, see: https://git-lfs.github.com/

Then run the interactive installation script to install the wallpapers to your system:

./install.sh

The script will automatically pull the image files from Git LFS if needed.

The installation script allows you to:

• Choose the installation directory (default: ~/wallpapers)
• Preserve folder structure or use a flat layout
• Filter by orientation (all, portrait 9:16, or landscape 16:9)

The collection includes images from various locations and themes:

Special Collections

• ai-gen/: Contains AI-generated images
• flag/: A flat archive containing all images (including AI-generated ones) condensed into one directory
