Welcome to the v2.2.1 release of manifest-tool!
This release has no additional features but updates the DockerHub hosted images and several vendors to recent released versions:
- Binaries built with the latest Go 1.25.1 version
- Docker and containerd dependencies updated to latest version (containerd 2.0 -> 2.1)
- Alpine image release base moved up from 3.21.3 to 3.22.1
- Latest versions of registry credential helpers are included in the Alpine images
