What is This?

Ecosia-Searcher is a Tampermonkey script built to automatically search for random words on the Ecosia browser.

Why does it Exist?

For every search made on the Ecosia browser, a tree is planted, this script will randomly do searches every 5 seconds, essentially planting a tree every 5 seconds. It will also track your progress and log it in the console for you to see how many trees you have planted.

How do I install It?

1. Install Tampermonkey on Google Chrome
2. Go to this Webpage to create a new Script
3. Copy and paste the contents of index.js and index.background.js into TWO SEPARATE SCRIPTS and then save
4. Access the Ecosia browser and the script will start automatically, you will be required to give permission for the script to work
5. Let it run automatically and open your console to keep track of the trees you've planted
