Introduction

This is a full-stack hotel booking application built from scratch. The application provides basic functionality for users and admin to sign up, log in, and book properties. It features two separate panels: one for customers and one for admins. Admins can manage their properties, while customers can make bookings.

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/iamganeshsalunkhe/hotel-booking-app.git
   cd hotel-booking-app

2. Install backend dependencies:

   cd backend
   npm install

3. Set up MySQL database:

   • Create a new MySQL database and update the database configuration in config/config.json.

4. Run database migrations:

   npx sequelize db:migrate

5. Start the backend server:

   npm start

6. Install frontend dependencies:

   cd ../frontend
   npm install

7. Start the frontend development server:

   npm run dev
