It's kind of disturbing that this change is so hacky just to get CSS styles working in the editor. I feel like this is more of an Anki bug that needs to get fixed. |

I tested this with Anki 2.1.54 and Anki 2.1.49. See comments in the code for how it was implemented. I hope that this solution is stable for the next releases of Anki 🤞 Unfortunately, this method requires 2.1.54, so this will not work for Anki 2.1.50-2.1.53.
