Update vite to version 4

This resolves a dependency conflict when cloning the previous commit.

On a fresh clone at cee80ed npm was unhappy (node versions v16.19.0 and v18.12.1):

Updating to 4.0.4 seems to fix the issue and I can run npm install and also npm run dev successfully.
