Description

In CodeCompanion, the notion of variables was taken from GitHub Copilot. GitHub have since renamed them to be "chat variables".

In 2026, "variables" isn't explicit enough of a name to explain what they actually do. To that end, renaming them to "editor context" feels a much smarter and cleaner move.
