This hackathon focuses on Intel's ecosystem and the GenAI Solutions with OPEA™ platform, offering a unique opportunity to develop innovative solutions that drive industry transformation. Participants will have the chance to showcase their skills, learn new technologies, and make meaningful contributions to the open-source community. The hackathon invites participants to delve into the Open Platform for Enterprise AI (OPEA™) and leverage its microservices to innovate using a comprehensive tech stack and leverage the power of Intel's CPUs, GPUs, NPUs and Intel® Tiber AI Cloud to accelerate development using the modular, composable, and secure architecture of the Open Platform for Enterprise AI (OPEA™). With access to these advanced tools and technologies, the hackathon aims to inspire groundbreaking solutions that redefine possibilities in today's digital landscape. Chat QnA with OPEA on XEON through AWS - Deploy ChatQnA on AWS with OPEA | Step-by-Step GenAI Setup (Intel Xeon)
- GenAI applications using OPEA™: Usage of OPEA™ (Open Platform for Enterprise AI) is a mandatory. Noncompliance will lead to disqualification.
- Tools to be used during the hackathon during ideation/prototyping stage:
- Platform: OPEA™ (Open Platform for Enterprise AI) platform and its micro services. (Is Mandatory)
- Software: OpenVINO (Not mandatory)
- Tools: ITAC™ access will be provided in the Prototype stage
- Intel® Xeon® CPU /Intel® Gaudi® AI Accelerators/ AI PC (GPU, NPU)
Please note: For prototype submission, evaluation will be based on three key criteria: completeness, innovation, and usefulness of the prototype.

A detailed PowerPoint presentation in the prescribed format with details on the proposed idea, usage of Intel hardware/software, novelty, OPEA™ platform, and its micro services.
The teams getting into the prototype phase should build the prototypes, submit the PowerPoint presentation & the code through open/public access to the GitHub repository. Also, a demo video is appreciated for the final evaluation phase.
