I am a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer in transition with a strong background in critical technical infrastructures, networking, and distributed systems.
For more than 10 years I have worked in high-pressure, high-availability environments (broadcast, live events, videoconferencing, AV over IP), where reliability, observability and fast incident response are mandatory.
That background shaped the way I work today: system thinking, automation, operational discipline and a strong focus on stability.
- Linux systems (on-prem, administration, services, networking)
- Containers: Docker, Docker Compose
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Networking: VLANs, firewalling, segmentation, DNS
- Reverse proxy & TLS: NGINX, internal DNS (Bind9)
- Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
- Declarative configurations and reproducible environments (YAML-based workflows)
Currently progressing towards:
- Kubernetes (K3s)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible)
Design and operation of a real on-prem infrastructure environment:
- Segmented network (VLANs)
- Internal DNS and reverse proxy
- CI/CD pipelines for services
- Monitoring and observability
Focus: reliability, clarity and reproducibility.
Microservices-based platform deployed in my homelab:
- Dockerized services
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Internal networking and routing
- Prepared for future migration to Kubernetes
