Welcome to the Teaching DevOps wiki!

This wiki should help you answer any questions related to the lecture_* repositories, LaTeX slides, exercises, and latex-math.

We hope to supersede individual README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md files scattered across lectures, which have unfortunately become outdated over the years and are hard to keep track of. If you encounter contradictory information in the wild, please consider this wiki to be the One True Source™ of information and maybe ask in the Teaching DevOps Mattermost channel to make sure that whoever is currently in charge of keeping track of things can keep track of things.

Important

Our technical setup generally assumes a Linux-based OS, and unless you are very certain about what you're doing we strongly recommend setting up Ubuntu in WSL if you're working on Windows. MacOS should also be fine, alongside basically any Linux distribution, but the devil may be in the details.
