Before installing, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- QuickShell (v0.2+)
- Qt 6 (Targeting Qt 6.10)
- Hyprland (Recommended compositor)

Clone this configuration into your QuickShell config directory:
cd ~/.config/

cd quickshellWe provide a setup script to install dependencies (Arch Linux) and configure your environment:
chmod +x setup.sh
./setup.shIf you prefer manual configuration or are not on Arch Linux:
- Install Dependencies: Install all packages listed in the Prerequisites section.
- Generate Colors: Run
wal -i /path/to/wallpaperto generate the initial color scheme. - Hyprland Config: Add the following to your
~/.config/hypr/hyprland.confto fix layer shell animations:source = ~/.config/quickshell/hyprland-layer-config.conf
To start QuickShell manually:
quickshellTo start it automatically with Hyprland, add this to your hyprland.conf:
exec-once = quickshell
./reload-quickshell.sh: Safely restarts the shell process. Use this after making config changes../setup.sh: Checks for dependencies and configures the environment.

A: Ensure you have run wal -i /path/to/image at least once. The shell relies on ~/.cache/wal/colors.json.
Q: Animations are jerky or windows have weird borders.
A: Make sure you have sourced hyprland-layer-config.conf in your Hyprland configuration.
Q: Audio/Network controls aren't working.
A: Verify that pipewire, wireplumber, and networkmanager services are running.
