We take the security of Salat Now seriously. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it to us as follows:

Please do not report security vulnerabilities through public GitHub issues.

Instead, please send an email to contact@salatnow.app with the following information:

• Type of issue (e.g. buffer overflow, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, etc.)
• Full paths of source file(s) related to the manifestation of the issue
• The location of the affected source code (tag/branch/commit or direct URL)
• Any special configuration required to reproduce the issue
• Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue
• Proof-of-concept or exploit code (if possible)
• Impact of the issue, including how an attacker might exploit the issue

• You should receive a response within 48 hours
• We will confirm the receipt of your vulnerability report
• We will provide an estimated timeline for addressing the vulnerability
• We will notify you when the vulnerability is fixed

Salat Now implements several security measures:

• Data Privacy: Location data is processed locally and only sent to prayer time APIs
• Secure Communications: All API communications use HTTPS
• No Personal Data Storage: We don't store personal information beyond necessary settings
• Regular Updates: Dependencies are regularly updated to address security vulnerabilities
• Code Review: All code changes go through review processes

Salat Now respects user privacy:

• Location data is used only for prayer time calculations
• No tracking or analytics are implemented
• User preferences are stored locally
• No data is transmitted to third parties except prayer time APIs

We kindly ask that you:

• Give us reasonable time to investigate and fix the issue before public disclosure
• Make a good faith effort to avoid privacy violations and disruptions to others
• Contact us before engaging in security research that could affect our users
